You will need:
Heavy whipping cream any amount depending on the amount of butter you want to make.
Cold bowl of water for rinsing the buttermilk from the butter. ( this is important so the butter does not go bad faster.
Add whipping cream to the mixing bowl and mix on medium speed until the cream separates.
once separated you will have Buttermilk in the mixer remove butter and strain milk into a different container for later and place in the fridge.
Then rinse the butter in ice water until the water rinses clear. Place butter in a container or parchment paper and into your fridge.
